Finding Trigonometric Values with Standard Position (not Unit Circle)
Переглядів 2012 годин тому
Kathryn demonstrated how to solve trigonometry problems by utilizing the Pythagorean Theorem. She showed how to find the values of trigonometric functions in standard position, whose terminal side passes through a given point. The steps included calculating the distance 'r' and determining the trigonometric functions, including cosine, tangent, and cotangent. Kathryn provided clear instructions...
Easy Basic Trig: SOHCAHTOA

Please must we always make the dots three?
You only need two points for a line, but, if you are doing it by hand I recommend 3 to make sure you have plotted them correctly.
Underrated channel fr
Explain
how did you get 3x3x-1? wouldnt it just be 3x-3?
Could you give me the time stamp?
I prefer having x on the left as I was taught that way, so it was a little weird seeing your answer, but I got it right. (Seriously my old math teacher wanted things an exact way and if you didn't do it that exact way he would mark it wrong. So 2^2=x, or x=2^2, or 4=x would all be wrong but x=4 would be correct.)
I am so sorry for that. "-( It does bother me when teachers say there is only 'one correct way' when there can be many! We do get use to seeing x=#, because, well, it's tradition I guess. I always solve answers, especially for my beginning algebra students so they look both ways. I am glad you got the answer correct and realized that the answer can be 4 = x or x = 4.
Great explanation. Thank you 🙏.
I'm so grateful to have found your channel. I'm only in my mid60's, I've discovered my retention is even greater now than it was for the last refresher courses I took previously. Biggest PLUS, I'm a Grandmother of an 8 and 13yr old. Age , parental position ie newborn to early teen. Depending on situations (health, men
Welcome!
Thank you… excellent explanation, I appreciate the help ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️
This is incorrect. Steps are being skipped as well. Not clear at all
ur really super good teacher love it
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ngl her voice annoying af
I have been remarkably benefited by this superb video.
Thank you so much for your explanation 😊 the video it so cool thanks
This was wayy better then my high school math teacher
THANK YOU THIS HELPED SO MUCH I HAVE AN ALG 2 TEST TOMORROW
I love this channel
thank you so much
Thank you I have to retake my math foundations college test again . This was helpful
you've been so helpful!!! I plan on rewatching all of your finite math videos for my exam!
Am I late
Wonderful.
@18:24 why is 3/4 times 2 equal to 3/2? I got 1.5. But overall I understand everything and you are a wonderful teacher.
Great lesson!
Thank you so much. I remember graphing in school, but didn't remember how it was taught. I'm so glad I came across your video. I learned how to graph order pairs again, and I'm confident I will do well moving forward in graphing math lessons. Thank you again.
You did this wrong.
Hi you did well but why make it so complicated? you can easily teach more simply
f(1)=3
I'm the second comment of this Video
Your teaching method is one of the best method I had ever seen Thank u
is this calculating only the volume of the cup itself not the volume of the space inside the cup correct?
I was wondering how you changed the constant term from 12 down to 10, as -2x can’t be subtracted from 12.
So nice so great
My student and I are confused. If x and y = the quantity of tents, how can the 2nd equation be used in the system of equations? In the 2nd equation, x and y represent price. No?
Hmm. Don't quite understand your question. x = tents sold, y = sleeping bags. x+y=items sold; 4tents + 3sleeping bags = $55. Could you re-ask your question? :-)
It's helpful for me
Thank you so much I was late to class and didn't understand anything but my teacher gave homework so I had to understand it so I came on here hoping to understand it and I did !!! It is pretty simple actually 😁
Awesome
Hi will this work on powerpoint 2022? (Mac)
uh, hello? i wasn’t able to see the rest of the graph. can you re-record the video with another screen size? thank you!
Its correct
Why didn't I have a teacher like you in high school!
Thank you so much, I appreciate your help. Honestly I didn't know it was that simple. Thanks again!!! 😊👍
Awesome explanation...superb teacher
I don't understand how 4(-3)-5 becomes a solution to. Y =4x - 5
Thank you so much!!
This freaking hard I can't understand
Where does the x go when you simplify the x2 + bx = c to (x+b)2 = c (sorry I have no small 2 for the squared)
OH-MY-GOSH, my brain. Doing my best to catch up Mrs. Maloney. Too many events (work), plus Thanksgiving had me fall behind. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family🦃
We use to call it BEDMAS 😊
In the UK it is called BEDMAS, in the US it is called PEMDAS. Thank you for watching!
